Celebrating Music In Our Schools Month is one of our own talented faculty members. Ms. Jessica Lessmann is a third grade teacher and a mother of three daughters who also play the piano. In addition to playing the piano, Ms. Lessmann likes reading and running.

November Spotlight - Mr. John Pohle, Extraordinaire!
In addition to challenging young minds at Corporate Landing Elementary, Mr. Pohle spends several evenings teaching karate.
My first performance spotlight features one of our talented parents. Mr. Leon Edwards, father of Jordan, is a professional musician, composer, arranger, and former band teacher with Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Several of our students had the opportunity to hear him play his trumpet in music class last year.
Mr. Edwards is part of a musical group called "The Dreams Band." The first video features each member of his group. Spotlight on Leon is about 4 minutes and 25 seconds into the video. The second video not only reveals Mr. Edwards' musical ability, but also his creativity in producing videos.
